FINLAND IN KENYA

Slide Residents of the Solio settlement at the launch of the Water Project in Laikipia county. The project will abstract water from the Honi river 31 kilometres away to provide quality water to seven villages. Slide Finland has provided funding for the implementation of the UN Women country strategy for Kenya which focused on women’s participation in decision-making, women’s economic empowerment, gender-based violence and women peace and security.
